    An utsushi (copy) of plans of Azuchi Castle in scroll form.

    The 写utsushi was made by 栗原信充 Kurihara Nobumitsu (or it could be Nobuaki) sometime during the Bakumatsu.

    I found a record of a Kurihara Nobuaki 1794 - 1870 who was involved in the production of something called 古今要覧 Kokon Yōran, (Kokumin Kaikyo) which appears to be a documentation of Arms, Armour of old times.

    Apparently a number of Samurai were sent around the country, during the Bakumatsu to accomplish this.

    It was never finished.
